Correctly mixing gasses is essential to being able to breathe safely underwater. The SSI Gas Blender program teaches you the skills and concepts required to safely blend nitrox gases. This non-diving program is open to certified and uncertified divers and teaches proper usage of mathematics, gas blending software, physics, and techniques required to blend breathing gases safely. PADI Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world. Public classes range from 2 to 8 students. They must be scheduled following the Open Water schedule. Any changes the student needs to the open water schedule are subject to a $110 per person per day charge.

The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty will teach you how to dive beyond the no-decompression limits.
