Instructor Training Course

This in-depth program provides all you need to become an SSI Open Water Instructor. Once certified, you can train new SSI divers, teach Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and create Dive Guides. The possibilities are endless, so start your dive career now!

Candidate Prerequisites:
1. Minimum age of 18.
2. Be an open water diver or higher for at least six months before starting the Instructor Training Course. 
3. Have logged at least 60 open water dives totaling 40 hours or more. To qualify for the Instructor Evaluation Exam at the conclusion of the course, you must have 100 open water dives logged, totaling 65 hours or more.
4. Divermaster Certification
5. Enriched Air Nitrox 40 Certification.
