Equipment Techniques
Do you want to be a more educated buyer when it comes to buying scuba equipment? Do you want to know how to take care of your equipment better, so you can prolong its use?
This will teach you how to buy quality scuba equipment. A large price tag doesn’t always mean excellent equipment, and a low price tag also doesn’t mean that the equipment is not of good quality. Any scuba equipment is an investment, and we want to help you make a more educated purchase.
This class will also educate you on how to properly clean, maintain, and store equipment. There is more to maintaining your gear outside of hanging it up after use.
You will earn the SSI Equipment Techniques Specialty certification.
Student prerequisites are as follows:
Must meet the minimum age requirement of 10 years old.
Must have referral diver certification or equivalent from a recognized training agency.
Please bring a completed medical form with you to your first session.
